    Owner - Boss Lady

    As the owner and operator (or ‘Zen Creature,’ if you will) of Zen Home & Cottage Cleaning Services, I wear a lot of hats—and I love every minute of it! With roots stretching from Apsley and Havelock to the GTA and now calling Marmora home, I’ve always had a deep love for cottage country and the people in it. I’ve spent the last several years in Havelock with the love of my life, Rob, building a life full of adventure, laughter, and a whole lot of community spirit.

    When I’m not bringing order to chaos (which I adore), you’ll find me leading community projects—like the Havelock Figure Skating Club, HBMProud, the Havelock Outdoor Rink, and the annual Fire & Ice Festival. Oh, and I also run the HBM Ladies 3-Pitch League because, why not? Busy is just how I roll.

    At home, I’m a proud homeschooler to my two kiddos, a travel enthusiast, and an animal lover—our dog Ruby is my trusty co-pilot on estimate visits. I’m a straight shooter (some call it blunt, I call it efficient), a people person through and through, and I’m always up for a good laugh. For me, creating clean, peaceful spaces isn’t just a job—it’s a passion.

    Operations Manager

    Emily brings a strong background in health and safety management to our team, having studied general business along with health and safety and environmental compliance. Inspired by her sister's (Jena, the owner) entrepreneurial venture, she is passionate about supporting family and fostering a collaborative work environment. She enjoys working with her sister and our dedicated team of cleaners, valuing the flexibility and remote nature of her role.

    Outside of work, Emily loves baseball, camping, and traveling, which enriches her perspective on work-life balance. With skills in organization and a solid foundation in business, including a diploma in health and safety and Hazmat training, Emily excels in client interactions.

    She ensures client satisfaction by following up after cleans to gather feedback and tailor services to individual needs. Looking ahead, Emily is committed to helping her sister expand the business into new areas, contributing to growth and success in the future.

    Full Time Seasonal Staff

    Olivia has been an invaluable part of our team for the past three years, transforming spaces with her passion for creating clean, refreshing environments. With experience in both residential and commercial cleaning, she specializes in deep cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, using eco-friendly products for a spotless finish.

    Olivia takes pride in seeing her work and has completed training in effective sanitation and specialized cleaning techniques. An animal lover, she enjoys spending time with furry friends on the job.

    Emma was inspired by the chance to connect with amazing clients and bring her keen eye for detail to every job—especially when it comes to cleaning cabinets.

    She loves being part of our team and spends her free time with family, friends, and her dogs, boating on the river. One of her favorite moments? A homemade lunch from a grateful client, which reminds her of the meaningful connections she creates.

    Always eager to learn and grow, we’re excited to see Emma continue to thrive with us.

    As a proud mother and grandmother, she understands family life’s messes and rewards. When not transforming homes, you’ll find April enjoying family beach time, paddle boarding, or catching a good movie. She’s also a proud grandparent of 25 and recently crossed off a dream trip to Ireland!

    April treats every client like family, focusing on trust and open communication. Her motto? Collaborate, communicate, and contribute—let’s make every space shine!
